What the hell am I doing?

OK. I've decided to buy a new imac. Wondering how I would ever afford to do this I have stumbled across the amazing world of freebies. I have just joined Exceem and thought the best way for me to get started was to introduce myself and find out all the ins and outs of getting 'the greens'.
Im 33 years old and live near Bath. Im trying to build a small home recording studio in my spare room(much to the missus' annoyance) so Im on the long road to get 35 referrals for an imac which would be the cherry on the cake for my very much budget studio.
Anyway, if anybody has any tips for me on where to get started please post 'em this way.

Ive noticed that something like an imac isnt much of a choice when it comes to freebies. Is that because its such a high target of referrals? I guess i just want to know how realistic im being in going for one!

much more websites have MacBooks instead of iMacs.
I think FJ have a MacBook Air for 50 referrals

Let me make sure ive got this right! It cost me £5 to join an offer to get the ball rolling with my chosen freebie sight. If i gave £5 to 35 of my friends (thats the amount of referrals i need) and got them to do the same thing it would mean i get an imac for £175?

or, you can visit the trade sections and do green for green, where you sign up under someones referral link (for a different network) and they sign up under yours
isn't the freebie world wonderful?

Spoondog, just remember if you are refering 35 of your friends (or any amount of friends) don't let them use your computer to sign up, also make sure they are aware that they cannot sign up from any other computer that has been used to sign up previously.

This will result in you losing them as a referal, and possibly you getting your account on hold and losing out on your freebie
