 | Newbie eager to get started!Hey everyone, I'm new to the freebie scene, I got looking into it about a year ago but was under 18 at the time, so I figured now that I'm nearly 19 I should get my arse in gear and put a bit of effort in. A little about me: As I said, I'm 19 in about a week, on my summer break at the moment from uni, for those in the UK I'm up at lancaster studying physics, just finished my first year, hopefully I can put some initiative into the whole freebie process! So I've just signed up to freebiejeebies and done the coral offer (very quick to go green btw, about a minute after I played through), currently writing up an email to send out to friends and family e.t.c. Saw this forum, and thought it looked like a very helpful and friendly place, so I thought I'd join up. Any quick suggestions for a friendly newb?  |

 | Re: Newbie eager to get started!Welcome mate, hope the first year went well at Uni. Have a read round all the sections of the forum you'll pick loads up. That's what I did. My advice for a new member would be to ask friends and if they need mroe persuasion offer to cover there costs... |

| Re: Newbie eager to get started!Hey, welcome!! Most people start out by creating a website to get referrals. There are many different methods out there. I'd suggest having a look through the forum - especially the 'How to get Greens' section! You picked a really good network to start on!
