This is my intro post, so I'll say hi to everyone on the site. I stumbled upon the site yesterday and I'm glad I did. After hunting various free sites, I've been reading the forums here and this looks like the holy grail! I'm not ashamed to admit to being a complete noob to all of this but I'm sure to get the hang of it in no time. A PS3 is my aim first (is this too ambitious to start with?) Looking forward to getting started guys.

I wouldn't say that it's too ambitious to go for a ps3 first (that was my first freebie) but I'd say it's unwise. I think it's much easier to show friends and family that it works if you just get a wee thing like an ipod shuffle for just 2 refs, then people will be far more willing to join cause they can see it works

Hey, thanks for the tip, i know that the majority will have a cynical view. I'm just trying to figure out how to pitch it to people, any advise?

ermm, hopefully some people that are a bit better at this than me may step in here, but I'd show them the bbc video YouTube - BBC - Free IPOD Just make sure people don't sign up under that persons ref link.

Or join a conga, and get the ipod shuffle (2refs) without having to get anyone to sign up. Then when you get it just tell your friends you got a free ipod, they'll jump at the chance to get one for themselves (hopefully)
