Shy person saying hi :)

Hi guys
I am really new to all this.
I found FreebieJeebies through a group I am involved with
I am worried about going about getting people to join as I don't want to come across as being a spammer. I have seen some people get really picked on for putting links in places, and eventhough I am the other side of a screen, I do take it to heart when I get a negative comment on a forum or whatever.

I will be reading the hints and tips on this forum with great interest as I have bitten off more than I can chew initially by going for a PS3. The only reason that this is, is that my son had a wii in University, however, just before Christmas, some degenerate decided that they obviously wanted it more than my son did and decided to break into his accommodation and take it, as well as the tv he had it plugged into. As you can gather, he is pretty devastated.

I am still paying for the wii from the catalogue and I am hoping that we will be able to get the money back from the universities contents insurance, but this is taking forever. I did promise that once I could afford it I would get him a PS3 for his 18th, well I couldn't afford it then, and still can't, but maybe through something like freebiejeebies I can eventually get it.

I played £5 bingo, and if that is all its going to cost and the 14 referrals then I will be amazed, but I have been really skeptical about all this, but seeing that so many people have managed to get things has made me feel so much better.

Sorry that this is so long, I don't usually talk so much, but I wanted you to know that this forum is a brilliant idea, and may make my son a lot happier again.

Thanks
Miwsher

He is a clever kid. He was 18 Christmas day, they do a level 0 now in some universities which is the same as 2 A Levels, it guarrantees him acceptance to the next 3 years on the BSc that he wants to do in Aeronautical Engineering. Its a good idea, as its only a year concentrating on exactly what he needs to know before starting a degree, rather than choosing 2 or 3 somewhat relevant A Level subjects and staying in school.
