Hi all,

I am pretty new to this site so I am not really sure what I am doing! Anway, I really want an iphone and this is the only way I can do it without my girlfriend dumping me for spending £300!

So anyone willing to help me achieve my iphone goal by giving me some tips would be much appreciated!

Welcome!

Best tip is to do a lot of reading around on here in the how to get greens section. Getting a website is always useful. I also think it will be easier depending on which site you are signed up to, who have you signed up to?

I have not really signed up for any yet, may be a silly question but what are "Greens" I presume not the things your mother made sure you ate! I would welcome any suggestions on which sites are best. What is the trade section? Do you do it so that you sign up for someone elses if they sign up for yours?

Did I mention that I really want an iphone?

Greens are referrals which have completed an offer, so they count towards getting your gift.

The trades section is where you either pay someone to go green under your link, or you swap like you described. You can't use the trade section until you have made 5 posts and been a member for 5 days though.

greens are people that sign up to your link and complete an offer (its these you need ) yellows are people that sign up to your link and dont do an offer.
trade section - you can trade green for green ie you sign up for there site they sign up to yours or you can trade green for cash ie pay someone to sign up for you.
i would suggest either apple.freebiejeebies or apple.real-incentives for an iphone

A green is someone who has signed up to your site and completed an offer. They are appear as a green in your account. They may go Pending before they go green.

My preference is RI, but I know everyone has their own. RI is 13 "greens" for an 8gb iphone.

The trade section is a section where you say to people "I will sign up under you and do an offer if you will do the same for me".

You could also join a conga.

Well thanks for all the tips, hopefully it won't be too long before I get a nice new iphone!

Do you think it is worth setting up a web site? I would have to pay for the web space etc but if it gets me an iphone then it doesn't matter. I would be happy to rely on the "greens" (see getting into the lingo already) but if you can't rely on those then I will setup a website ASAP.

Did I mention I really want an iphone?

You can get free hosting so all you pay for is the domain, about a tenner for two years if you get a .co.uk. That's what I do.

You can sign up to free hosts to host your site. Like http://hosting-cow.com

I suppose you can do as many trades as you want as long as you can do an offer for the person you sign up under. So around 5/6 trades if I had to guess? I'd join a conga, and then begin trading. That way you can get 2 greens via the conga and some more via trades. Also ask mates/family/gf to sign up. You'll have your iphone in no time.. It is an iphone you want right? You didn't really make it clear what gift you were after..

OK the song lyrics are wrong, it was late and I had too many bottles of becks to care, please don't hold it against me.

Just told my gf my cunning plan to get an iphone, she beat me down with one word, 'loser'. I replied that she would be the loser when I have my free iphone. So to add fuel to my quest and prove her wrong I need all the help I can get!

I might setup a domain name and get some of that cow space.

Yup you can't join the RI conga if you've already signed up! Might be worth considering trading if you don't need many refs! That way you'll be paying but paying far less than you would if you bought it, and it can be used as proof for mates etc
