Wii-desperate newbie...

Hi, I'm Sorrel.

I'm completely new to this website but I've tried using freeipods.com (etc) before with no luck. It's quite probable, if I'm honest, that I won't return to this site again once I've got a Wii because that is the only reason I've registered (unless I get the freebie bug lol) but as far as I'm concerned, getting a free Wii or iPod or whatever for the minimal effort of registering here and getting to know you savvy folks is no contest, effort-wise, vs. the amount of employment-work it would take for me to earn a Nintendo Wii...

I think I've understood all the necessary info, having read the FAQs and *read this if you're a newbie* type threads.

So, basically, I'm more than happy to spread my card details etc around these various websites, as long as they're as legit as you all claim (I completed an offer for lovefilms.co.uk yesterday, having previously used their cousin screenselect.com with v. good results) and do swap favours for anyone here, in order to prove my sceptical self wrong and, someday, (I think I'm too late for the Christmas rush lol) receive a free Nintendo Wii.

THAT is my goal - I'm the biggest Nintendo-aholic I know and because of poor finances would LOVE to get one free. I was disappointed by my lack of free iPod after I tried with that scheme but that was probably because of my friends' laziness. I do hope you guys are willing to trade/swap offers and gain/help references with a keen and no-nonsense newbie.

I'm SOOO willing to oblige any of your needs lol.

LOL Sorrel xxx

Re: Wii-desperate newbie...

Hey Welcome to eXceem and thanks for the effort put into your introduction.

Firstly, I'd like to point out that you may not receive credit for the lovefilm offer when your account is being verified as you have been a member of screenselect before and that is not allowed.

Secondly, I will give you a lot of credit and be in deep shock if you get a free wii and never return to eXceem! It is the most addictive thing I have ever come across!

Re: Wii-desperate newbie...

Thanks Bazza. I may well get the bug...

I'm a bit confused though - since it's really only screenselect/lovefilm that give you free greens, and the rest are 10 pounds ish per green (by signing up to bingo and poker sites which require a minimum spend), aren't you paying, say, 70 pounds in the end, so it's not really very free..?

I think I'll post this question/confusion somewhere more relevant in the hope of a bit of help- but I'd welcome any responses/advice on this thread or via pm.

It's a common misconception that you have to pay to complete a gambling offer, all they want is for you to deposit the money and gamble with it all. Most people just lose it all without thinking, but I've always come out with more than I started with!

As far as the gambling sites go as mentioned by Scribbler, not that I would ever do this You can play roullete and put £5 on black and £5 on red, that way you've played through a tenner and came out the same
