Re: Ebay Item

Right well i was thinking it was just someone selling a ebook with their referal links in...but now im not to sure. The feedback which he has received is all really good! And the "email someone" step isnt really part of the freebie concept....

Re: Ebay Item

This is what you do:

Step 1. email a wholesale company saying that you are a company that is interested in making a bulk order but before you do you would like a sample of what you are getting.

Step 2. get the sample and keep it.

Step3. change your mind about the bulk order but keep the sample for free (or maybe just paying shipping)

this does work as I know people that have done it

Re: Ebay Item

So it is actually illegal, as you are lying saying you are a company.

Re: Ebay Item

You could be a company which is starting up and just hasn't registered as a company yet, but are looking for products to sell.

Re: Ebay Item

would you not think the wholesaler would follow up on it a bit more than that, its a sure way to loose a lot of money.

Re: Ebay Item

I would not trust that at all, check the invoices, its from a chinese company, you select what item you want, email them the order and pay with western union, seen a site like this before, guy on msn said they do not have a company so that is why they send the gifts out so cheaply, scam.

Re: Ebay Item

It's like that trick where you write to companies saying that you're a reviewer for such and such magazine or site and if they could sent you sample products for review and publicity.

Re: Ebay Item

And he is doing it for PC systems aswell ... It does not look like the refferal market to me at all, but i don't know.

EDIT: I have told him i would like to buy in bulk and i would like to recieve the sample. If i get a free sample of it, i will post it on here.

Re: Ebay Item

You won't get anything from him, he is selling the information on where to find companies that will send you samples of their products, not selling the actual products himself.

It isn't a referral site, its just a few links to different sites with suppliers of products on them.

If anyone is interested one of the sites is probably www.alibaba.com

Re: Ebay Item

Anyone buy it here? coz I am thinking of buying it. Seems easier than refferal systems ... And the feedback from the people who have bought it seems fine, but one does say that a search engine could find the info ... Anyway shall ib uy it or not?

Re: Ebay Item

Anything you recieve from a company you can keep legally, it was introduced by trading standards in 2004. Basically if a company sends you something you didn't order, irrespective of how you got it (so long as you dind't steal it!)and there is no proof of ordereing it then you get to keep it! it's a protection of consumers rather than companies!

Short Story!
I ordered one copy of this Tae Bo Box kit (was like £40!) And it hadn'tt come in a week so emailed them twice about it, got my original order. Then got another two copies! and they coudlnm't charge me for it because i hadn't ordeered it, and coudln't ask for it back becuase as soon as said above if a company sends you an item without proof of ordering it they cannot have it back!
i subsequently sold them on ebay for like £70! was a nice day!

Re: Ebay Item

so...em, if you were toooo buy something, in a shop, and the dude (or dudette) behind the counter gave you too much change eg. (TOTALLY random set of circumstances.... you buy a pair of £45 shoes, you hand over 2 £20s and a £10, you get £15 back, the minute you walk out that shop they can do nothing about it? because es gibt keine proof!

i know its a little off topic but its along the same lines as the send you something without evidence of it being sent thing
