Will you please look at the date before you post.

And to answer your question, yes extensions do matter. A .co.uk extension would rank better on Google.co.uk, while .com extensions would rank better on Google.com.

Theoretically no, but people report some extensions as almost impossible to rank well.

The country extension will 'reportedly' rank better for searches within that country but I have a .co.uk that pulls in i'd estimate 90% US and Canada results.

.Com and .Co can be GEO targeted to any country and both rank well worldwide when no targeting is chosen.

I've tried a .info and it was impossible to rank it even for easy keywords and I know people that have had trouble with .Biz as well.

My reply was aimed at .info .biz .net etc etc more than the .Com .Co.Uk argument...
