| Do we really need this? The problem with those behind google is they're trying to fix whats not broken. Why keep forcing these changes, like the annoying sidebar on it's users?

| People seem to have mixed reactions in terms of the implications for SEO. On the one hand by making the suggestions more important, search terms may converge leading to less variations. On the other hand, with people reacting to the results and adding more words they'll see results for more than one keyphrase. May also make titles more important for a decent click through rate? | Can't say it's that bad... but could be annoying if you want visitors to your site and you not 1st in the results of the suggestions list! Got as far as "Free i" before I got Furbs' site! So people just won't go as far as "Free iPhone 4" to find mine!! But then if people are like me, they type fast, and by the time they realise there's this live search thing they'd have typed the whole thing anyway!

| In that case it assumes you want to search for free iPad and so you could say you're at a disadvantage if your site is targetting 'free iPhone'. People who would've searched for free iPhone are now clicking on the free iPad site. So in that case it'll benefit those people targetting free iPad as they'll 'steal' some of the users who would've gone to search free iPhone. |
