Ted - Ideas worth spreading

i did a search and found nothing posted about Ted so i thought i'd chuck all you guys the link. TED: Ideas worth spreading

This is THE best technology / science based website i have seen, granted i havn't really be searching for any, but still.

a few favorites

guy talks about real world / computer interaction - gets amazing about 5 minutes in
Pranav Mistry: The thrilling potential of SixthSense technology | Video on TED.com

a lady talks about particles which are dead, but react in living ways, e.g. taking carbon dioxide out of the air and turning it into pure carbon or something? e.g. self repairing architecture
Rachel Armstrong: Architecture that repairs itself? | Video on TED.com

On the cover page: david blaine (who i always thought was just a trickster) talks us thru how he held his breath for 17 minutes ...

mental huh?
some thing i was SURE about in science have been broken. i've spent the last couple of hours completly rewritting my brain about what is and isn't possible....

I used to be like addicted to these videos, I got an app on the iPod Touch and watched them constantly. They're is one about things going in sync with one another, or something along those lines... it's really amazing.
