Yup... 1 or 2 sign ups from my site and I think 1 pending from my site, but the rest from my fan page!

You just gotta know when and where to promote it... although I think I've been a little premature on the competition... only had 1 green from it out of 10 potentials.

Using LBT as a way of making profit is a massively slippery slope. In the last few minutes its just too easy to keep spending and spending and spending - then if you don't win you're down before you even start!

I suppose it depends on how much he has been able to sell the products he won for.

And with the credits, even on the cheaper 50 credit items that only gives him a blanket of 1-£1

I notice LBT have upped the price of the credits. £200 worth of credits is now 200 credits a bid so I'm guessing the next lot of £100 credits will be 100 credits a bid.

Whether this will work for the better or not I'm not sure though!

I know that everyone can spend as little or as much as they like on the site but I just wonder whether it puts a new member off when they look at the previous winners and see the same couple of names?

certainly didnt help in my case, although I got the green it certainly looked dodgy to the person I was enlisting!!!

I think the names beng removed is a much healthier option.

I guess FJ can't really win there as people will want to see who has won the auction as just saying "auction won" but no details about the winner could look dodgy too.

We will soon be implementing auctions that only people who haven't won an auction in the past are permitted to bid on (in addition to the normal auctions we run) which should help give a bit of variety to the winners
