![]() | Just clear this up first of all, the comments are not a moan at me losing but at the fact that I do enjoy the site and the buzz I get from it and yes of course it's annoying to lose but that's part of the gamble, it stops becoming a gamble and fun when such huge spreads are placed and althought FJ are making a lot at the moment, eventually people will get fed up and stop putting money in meaning an end to the site and that would be a real shame as it's great to see how FJ have expanded! I have personally won a few auctions since it's started around 5-6 and have made a good amount of money which of course I'm extremely happy for but for me the whole buzz of the site should be lots of people having fun together and occasionally winning the prize in the process. I can honestly say that even if I was in the position to be putting £100 worth of bids on an auction I would not hammer every auction that went up. Believe it or not. I'm not trying to start any rows or arguements but simply make a point! Lol |

| blah blah blah | The only way that everyone could get the "buzz" would be if there was a limit on bids but if FJ did this they would be cutting their own throats and the site wouldn't be worth running. I imagine the same betting spreads happen at other similar sites?

@Articfox, I know what you mean FJ obviously need to be making money from it. I don't know how other sites achieve but at a quick look at other sites the previous 10 winners are all different, like I said I'm not sure how they achieve it maybe they have bud restrictions or maybe they do it by having lots more auctions for cheaper products? | |

![]() ![]() | This is because LBT is a new website... so the number of people on it is small compared to the other (bigger) players out there... They've been here for a looong time and so have loads of people using it and so greater chance of someone different winning it...

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | and most other auctions are the 1p bid sites which go on until no more bids are placed, not many sites about which are unique bids.

![]() | You only lost £20. Imagine how Kent would have felt if you made him lose over £100. One day it may be our lucky day. |

![]() | Hi, Need some help here! my 2 referrals in Israel signed up to LBT last night, and paid 10pounds each via PayPal. It is now the morning and the money is still not credited into their LBT. When they go to their transactions, it says the transaction is pending. Anyone know how to solve this? Or maybe i should wait some more time before ranting? thanks in advance, Dave. |

![]() | Maybe you paid by echeque instead of an instant transfer. That takes a while to process. |

![]() | When you put your bids on lbt it tells you instantly whether you are unique or not. Would it tell you at this stage if you were the lowest unique bidder or not? Thanks |
|

| Mini Mac | yes it does tell you if you are currently the lowest unique bidder

| Mini Mac | A lot of the auctions will attract last minute bidders and people who bid in blocks close to the end knowing if they have the lowest unique bid in their block then they are likely to win.

![]() | I see. I have been bidding on an item that ends while I am out and I currently have "unique" bids but not the "lowest unique" bid and I am wondering whether it's best to invest more money into it to bid lower or whether to wait until the end to see if any last minute bidders bump up the price? |

![]() | I had £100 of credits, wanted a PS3, so spent all my credits at the last miniute of auction, but Shad did the same and he bidded a little bit more than me! And he won! Only if I spent £10 more of credits I would have won it! Be careful using the site! It's impossible to win any of the auctions without bidding loads. Beware of Shad, Kent and Ashley! They bid loads at the last minute. You have to be prepard to take a big risk! You won't win any of the auctions unless you bid a lot, and I mean a lot! I used to use it but don't use it anymore. It's too much of a gamle! Just sticking to Freebie Jeebies. |

![]() | Looking at recent wins, Gary won the Google Nexus for about £10 at the weekend. I've been looking to win one of those for ages but don't want to risk losing a fortune. I occasionally stick up to £100 on an item, last minute, but that wouldn't usually dent the Google finishing price! And I am not risking more than that. Having said that, there are 2 of us Pauls who bid. First time I saw it, I thought someone had hacked into my account! So beware the Gary's, Kents, Shads, Fadilis and Edoardos, and you'll win. |

| iPod 60gb | A lot of people are complaining about the same people always winning. On MadBid.com they have these rules: "Overall Limit You can win 3 more auction(s) today You can win 12 more auction(s) in the next 30 days Silver Products (£350+) You can win 3 more auction(s) in the next 30 days Gold Products (£1,000+) You can win 2 more auction(s) in the next 30 days Platinum Products (£4,000+) You can win 1 more auction(s) in the next 90 days" Perhaps they could introduce something similar? |
