Facebook Groups

As mentioned in topics here and there in the forums, facebook can be a decent way of getting your referral link posted to many people at once, with the hope of some sign ups.

But what is the best way to go about it?

Most people seem to create a page or group about something completely irrelevant to your FJ idea, and once they have a load of fans, getting the link out there in a status or something! For example, someone had a facebook page something to do with 'Wearing headphones, don't talk to me' - a group which people would join as a laugh. This person soon had over 150 thousand fans, all to which could see a link being posted with the chance of some sign ups!

So i'm posting this thread for this reason. I've created 3 different facebook pages, all to which are new and fresh ideas (hopefully) and possibly could attract alot of people for a laugh. I won't post them here until there are at least a base of fans, but once there are i'll post them and we'll see how they get on. I'm not one for spamming, but once there are a load of fans, I may post my referral link or a link to my website with some brief instructions (once or twice) and see how things go.

Feel free to post anything here concerning facebook/pages/groups etc., be interesting to hear what everyone thinks
