| This is by no means a new thing though. My first webcam about 8 years ago had software that you could use to record motion detected video when you was out of the house. Newer software probably works a lot better though :P

| On an episode of CSI:Miami a while ago they used something like this, where a laptop had been nicked and they remotely connected to it and enabled the webcam to catch the villains.
