Torrent Sites

OK - hopefully I won't cause as much trouble on this post as the last one I posted did... To keep it sweet with forum regs, I am only talking about the different sites and am not condoning the downloading of pirate material, just to get an idea of what other people are using or recommend.

Before I post what I use, am I allowed?

Can't see why it wouldn't be allowed as long as nothing appears about downloading copyrighted material. Rapidshare i prefer to use as a sharing method anyway, much quicker and more secure, but TPB i use as my main torrent site when i rarely use it. If i am wrong and nothing about this should be posted here please delete however but can't see much of a problem myself?

i just google the name of what i want, and shove torrent on the end of it... although I do check tpb if it comes up near the top as I know trusted uploaders etc

I don't think it would be a good method, because alot of people using warez sites are from countries that are not supported by FJ or Kudos... Unless you're using Xpango

Nope it's not, I remember reading an article on Torrent Freaks (or somewhere similar) about how making money from torrents is almost dead. There seemed to be loads of different affiliate and PPC 'methods' that were used to abuse both the torrent sites and the source of payment, but they are being closed in on in order for the torrent sites to be less spammy and more content rich.

I mainly use private trackers.
But on the public tracker front use demonoid (Well its semi-Public). Pretty good speeds on the torrents on there.

I think I may have a few invites left for demonoid aswell if anyone wants one.

The Pirate Bay have been in the papers alot lately and apparently have a decent selection, although how long for is the big question

I use iptorrents - semi private - unfortunatly they have just revoked invites unless you are a vip member - i'm not

Yes! lol... i get higher speeds with tracker, than with direct link downloads

I don't use torrents (got put off by them when they were virus ridden)

I use newzbin and news.astraweb its easier and quicker (but does cost £'s)
