How can facebook be accesed through filters?

i am at work and want to acces my facebook!
i cannot use proxies so i was hoping if there is any other way?

sorry if this is in the wrong section.

help appreciated!

There is a filter at my work however its only applied to IE.

I searched the system for FireFox and found the .exe file. Opened it up and could change the settings. Now i can go on any site.

I am not going to tell you how to, but I was shown by another Exceem member how to get around such things as proxy filters :P

Lets just say its all thanks to the chinese Goverment.

A) because it suggests it may have been talked about elsewhere on exceem, so a search may bring up what you are looking for and

b) it tells you that it is possible, you just need to research a bit deeper. and

c) it gives you a hint on how to do it without actually incriminating him/herself

ive set up firefox using the proxy i found in the IE settings, but still all the sites that were originally blocked remain blocked

have you got the usb version? i got mine from here: Mozilla Firefox, Portable Edition | PortableApps.com - Portable software for USB drives

make sure you install the programme directly on to the usb.

i wasnt just able to connect to the net at work straight away, i had to get the proxy that my work uses to connect to the net and enter that into the firefox settings.
however once i got connected, the net access was the same as the usual IE access at work.

It has nothing to do with your internet browser! it happens to have something to do with a specvific website that is linked with the Chinese and there pitiful attempt at stopping there own citizens from browsing content that there goverment deems not worthy! :P

use google or any other search engine! its not hard to find the answer.

i'd be careful with this one sorry to be a spoil sport but facebook etc is blocked on our systems a number of people managed to get round it needless to say they no longer work here!!
