But I think this is some kind of a commercial advertisement of their website, thanks to which they may get masses of new traffic and subscribers.

I can see something like this happening, but it will suck. Hopefully a new provider will rise out of the crap and offer unlimited access (in terms of sites and bandwidth) if this ever does happen. Sod paying $60 to access something!

If this happens... there'll be an internet boycott, hardly anybody will use the new internet. Then either it will revert back or there will still be a company that decides not to involve with it. Still, scary to know these companies have that kind of power.

Not really , the power is in us people all over the world. If ISP's do this then there will be new companies which will somehow get full internet access.
Then the old ISP's will start losing customers ect... it won't be possible to block the internet. Hopefully

Edit to the Above: This is 100% bullsh*t. Why? Because then there will be no use for sites like Google or Yahoo. If you watch the video properly, you will realize that they say you would only have access to certain sites, so sites like eXceem wouldn't be accessible.

Basically as I said before, this is a clever marketing/advertisement idea which will bring traffic to their site. Just look at their other videos... they are all porn/sex realated in a way; why? Brings more people .
And like who would call their ISP up?

God imagine that - People on street corners offering you internet access (instead of crack) 'Ill give you 5 minutes for £10 !

the idea is absolutely ridiculous. think about the uproar. if it were a new type of connection (like one that was posted a week or so ago in exceem) then its possible, but it would never happen to the ordinary internet as we know it today.
and my god how i hate that channel on youtube. probably the only channel that actully makes me really angry with all their whining and "oooo look at me" attitude.

what a load of bull.

we live in a free market economy, therefore its not possible to force ISPs into using this system, a smaller ISP therefore will just say screw that, and continue with the current system and if the big ISPs do switch then everyone will leave them. Customers are fickle, ISPs are not going to gamble with their customers they pay tens of thousands per year to entice new customers, they will NEVER do anything like this as people will just leave them.

The cost of high speed internet is going down, no-one will pay £30 per month for access to 60 sites, get real.

I hate the music, i hate their accents, i hate they way they think they are tryng to create a panic.

this is more annoying than the crazy frog.....
