Delicious Library

Okay so have any of you mac'ers out there used this and is it worth paying for ?

I've downloaded the demo for my other half and she's just spent the last 15 minutes scanning dvd's and wii games but has hit the demo limit very fast. Just not sure if its worth paying £20 for.

I don't understand exactly what that does... do you scan a bar code and it downloads the DVD/CD?

no its like a profile program so you can log what dvds, games, cds and books you have.. if you have a lot like us, just easier to know what you've got and where it is.. also got some added extras built in..

also that review was from 2005.. the system has been up-dated loads since then, even works with brand new wii games and dvd's that i brought last week, so far i can't fault the demo.. think i'll be buying it come tomorrow

I've seen the full version and it's a fantastic concept.

The integration of the iSight into most Macs makes it much more popular, I'm sure but using the external one with Delicious Library was very cool.

Sorry for the double post but I have just used the barcode scanner, and I am blown away.. I thought it would be a gimmic that you would have to spend at least 5 minutes to get right, but it does it about 3 seconds.... amazing!

Yeah we ended up buying it and did all our dvds and games in about 40 mins and thats well over 300 dvds...

was very impressed and think there was only 3 dvds it didn't find...

Bit confused with this software really.. is it just a barcode thingy which inputs what you have into the program, or i there more to it?

its a profile program to keep a log of your dvds, games, cds, books etc etc

the scanner is a feature of the isight which you use as a barcode scanner but you can also search on title, code etc etc
