| Mini Mac | Do Not Use Vistaprint- They Are Scamming YouI'm sure many people here have used vistaprint, but it's come accross that they are cleverly scamming you. I ordered some cards from them and they were great, and everything was fine.. Untill i checked my credit card bill. They seemed to be charging me £9.95 a month. That had been going on for four months. The charge was from something called : VPrewards. I googled it and it turned out this was happening to many other people. i Read some threads and apparently they send you a little email disguised as spam or junk saying if you don't click here now we will charge you £9.95 a month for no reason. Obviously i didn't read that message as i thought it was spam....Obviously i wouldn't be too happy with £40 taken from me! So i searched about and found the phone number for vistaprint (below if anyone needs it) i ended up shouting at the "polite" guy on the phone, saying how it was illegal and so many people had alerted trading standards and so-forth. But, apparently since they are based in Bermuda it isn't illegal as the law is different there. -.- Anyway i made the guy give me all my cash back a close my account. I also told him where he should go. :P Finally after about 3 weeks i got my cash back. If anyone is having the same problems check out this site, it's got a big forum all about it: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/...=202892&page=2 Vistaprint Number: 0800 028 8251 I hope this might help some people. IF YOU'VE EVER USED VISTAPRINT, CHECK YOUR CARD STATEMENT FOR VPREWARDS!

Looks like a kind of Quidco site to me. EDIT: Also it says this in thier FAQ: " How do I cancel my membership? If you would like to cancel your membership, log onto the website and go the “My Account.” You can then access “Membership Status” and click where instructed to discontinue your membership. "

| iPod Nano 2GB | Re: Do Not Use Vistaprint- They Are Scamming YouYep, definitely dodgy. I got the "free" business cards (with extortionate postage) and luckily haven't been scammed. I have been spammed to death though What is perhaps very concerning is that I have had purchases from amazon containing promotional material for Vistaprint. |

| 2009 Year of the Fox | Re: Do Not Use Vistaprint- They Are Scamming YouMust admit to being a bit confused here. I have had 2 lots of business cards from vistaprint and to be honest I cant recall any spam. I certainly havent been charged any extra either and am completely satisfied with the cards I have got. I hardly say £5 postage i extortionate considering the cards are free, so it really works out about 5p per card. Try taking a package the same size and weight to the PO and see how much it would cost to send it to their office ( I think the cars come from Belgium). Am happy enough with their service and will use them again. Just thought I'd try redress the balance as the title of the post is not only misleading but possibly libelous(sp) as well. |
