spectacular new gadget

I don't know if this is old news, but i've noticed something new on amazon.

They're these sort of glasses that you wear and what you see through them is a 50"-75" screen (depending on which glasses you get). Now, you can plug all sorts of things into it, like video ipod, 360, portable dvd players and anything with a video output. They seem pretty cool and the reviews are pretty good. I'll give you some links to them on amazon.

Anyone else seen them? I'll probably get them soon.

Amazon.co.uk: ezvision

Re: spectacular new gadget

Not seen them but there was this review:

I bought one. It doesn't look like a 50 inch screen at 8 feet, it looks like a 1980s 2 inch TV being squinted at from one inch. VERY poor quality viewing. Pixelated and washed out images. I'm taking it to my local trading standards office. Don't make the same mistake I did. It only received 1 star because I can't give 0 stars.

Re: spectacular new gadget

I got a pair 4 years ago, they're not new, they're ok for space saving if you're at uni or boarding school but you have to stop every few hours as they mess up your eyes. It's not like a big TV either as when I used to play pro evo you couldn't make out any of the detail.

Re: spectacular new gadget

im sure these ones nowadays are a much better improvement on the headsets being sold 4 years ago, i would have to try it out myself to see if its worth it, good idea but seems like a load of hassle

i would rather put £110 towards a TV so when my mates come over they cans see the screen too lol

Re: spectacular new gadget

Doubt it my ones 4 years ago were much better than these, they were a lot dearer and a much better make. You still won't be able to see detail because the picture you are looking at is so tiny it doesn't matter how close you are. So wrong on that one rav and you would still have to stop every few hours as many of the better models automatically shut down to you damaging your eyes.

Hmmm, that makes me think i missed something. There was a sign next to it which i'm sure said 24,000 dirhams which is just over £3k. Perhaps it was refering to another TV nearby or there was something else i was missing.

But you can get a decent 50" for £1000 fairly easily. I don't know. I'll email my cousin and get him to check for me next time he is in Carrefour because from what you say it seems like i missed something.
