Not only are RM slow, but proper dodgy too. Unless you get special delivery, you can never be 100% certain will arrive let alone arriving in time.

Whilst I was in the Oxford area, I had quite a few mail items not arriving at all. Also, my so called "signed for" package was left outside my door!! Could have been easily nicked....luckily I was bunking lectures

one time i ordered some happytreefriends tees off the web, to my uni address went home for xmas before i got them, when i got back what did i find... the post man had just put it on the side of the porch and chucked the door mat on it!! the jiffy bag was soaked but luckily for me the tee's were cellophane wrapped so nothing got damaged, couldnt believe it no idea how long they were left there.

If i receive a parcel and don't sign for it i pretend it hasn't arrived.
I won a DVD player once (when they were expensive) got it delivered then rang up and asked where it was. I got my 2nd one 4 days later.

Forgotten which delivery company it was, maybe parcelforce. But you know those little cards where it says:

"Your delivery has been securely delivered [insert delivery destination]."

Well my latest amazon order said "your delivery has been securely delivered over the back gate" - i was like ok, good job it didnt rain...then i relised they litterally dropped it over the back gate!! Nothing was broken, lucky amazon is good with packing! But my replacement earphones from apple, the standard ones in a tiny package...which could of been put through the mail has to be signed for (good old dhl...poor bloke had to come back 3 times as we were out!)

They drive me nuts thats TWO items that were sent recorded from us that have NOT arrived. We ended up using special delievery the other day costing us Â£19 <shocking> Its awful that we can't rely on paid services. There will be some harsh words with these guys in the new year!

Other item madly was an essential part to a bread maker. Bought one didn't use it gave it to a friend but I didn't give her one of the bits so sent it recorded - Not there nearly 3 weeks later an basically the bit can not even be purchased which means in the new year I'm going to buy her a new one!

OK I've officially gone ballistic at Royal Mail (well MsSmirnoff has on my behalf). Not much I can do until I get the money back from Royally Crap M@il ~ Really sorry Gonza45, we're trying to get another one out to you as soon as possible (but not sure if they are going to replace it or send the money).
