| MJ lady with maracas | my.eXceem tutorial== Author Note == This tutorial is being written to help you get to grips with the new eXceem birthday treat: [Search Profiles My.eXceem]. Please note that it is still in the process of being written by Chigley and may not be in its entirety until it is finished. == What is My.eXceem? == My.eXceem is the latest addition to eXceem. It is an advanced profile space on which you can express information about yourself in a much user-friendly interface compared to the standard eXceem profile. == I want a My.eXceem page, how do I get one? == Every eXceem member already has a My.eXceem page, even if you didn't realise! You can visit your My.eXceem profile page by going to: Zoints Message Just remember to replace "username" with your own username! == Why do I need a My.eXceem? What does it do? == The key difference of My.eXceem compared to the rest of eXceem is that you may post your referral links on your page! Please note that you may not post your referral links on other members' pages as comments, only your own. For the rest of the rules regarding My.eXceem, read the [http://www.exceem.co.uk/forums/faq.p..._myexceemrules My.eXceem rules]. My.eXceem is useful to use as a website to target referrals, as well as being a networking tool for you to chat to your friends, similar to [MySpace MySpace]. It is not compulsory that you should use your My.eXceem page, but you will miss out if you don't as it is a great new feature on eXceem. == How do I... == * Add a friend? Adding a friend to my.eXceem is a way of showing off who your best friends are on eXceem. You can add any members, but they must accept your invite before they will be added to your my.eXceem. To add a friend, follow these steps: Visit your friend's My.eXceem page (eg. Jon's eXceem Profile) Click "Network with username" (eg. Network with Jon) Select the group you wish to add the member under (eg. Friends) Type a message explaining who you are and why you are adding the member to your friends list ~ this is likely to increase your chance of becoming accepted! (eg. "Hi Jon it's Chigley, please accept my friends invite!") Click "Add Member"
