Creating a website to attract referrals

A lot of people decide to create a website, to attract potential referrals to, which advertise the sites they are working on, and give general information on the freebie scene! The key things you need to consider when setting up such a site are:-
  • Have a link back to exceem
  • Easy to read font
  • Clickable referral links disguised behind pictures
  • Separate pages for offers, sites to do, how it works, general intro, contact page
  • Have a lighter background so the text stands out more
  • Don't talk about cancelling offers
  • Go into some detail on the types of offers available to entice different people ie betting, insurance, free offers, and generally how much you pay/ deposit etc
  • Mention about same IP addresses, can't complete an offer more than once etc
  • Have an easy to remember site address
  • Have a home page giving background to the freebie idea convincing them its not a scam
  • Don't mention that it's not a scam, as the way peoples minds work usually make people think it is!

Re: Creating a freebie website

This is something that has been playing on mind with this regard. I was wondering would people (i.e. mods and more importantly freebie sites) consider it to be an encouragement to cancel if i put that Lovefilm code that gets you the extra 3 months free and how to get it on my site??

It's a tough one, and if some of the freebiesites themselves could post their opinions on it that would be good because i want to put it on my site but don't want to fall foul of them there rules you see!

Re: Creating a freebie website

cancellation is a general no no, mainly as the companies advertising the offers are paying the site for valid leads, who will generate them income in the future, rather than someone who joins up, receives a free trial which costs them for the product and the advertising commission, which then cancels.

Re: Creating a freebie website

I know, thanks for the reply, but what i meant was even if i don't say cancel but just mention the code presumably that would still be seen as an encouragement to cancel??

But i'm guessing if i email a green who has done lovefilm after the two week trial period and find out that he has cancelled and give him the code in order to make friends so he might go green on another site () that would be OK.
