Access to the trades system
Due to abbuse from new members, there are some requirments that must be met before access to the trades system is granted
- Your email address must be verified
- You must be a member of eXceem for at least 5 days
- You must have made at least 5 posts
Please also take the time to have a browse of the eXceem forums, it will help you gain a greater understanding of how the whole process works, as well as recieve expert advice from the pro freebie hunters!
The 5 day period starts from the time you joined eXceem, as well as the date Trade Types
There are 2 types of trade allowed on exceem
- Green for Green - were both members in the trade go green on different sites
- Green for Cash - were one member pays another member a cash payment in return for going green
Additionally you can list a willing to go green listing stating you are willing to join a
specific site. This is not to be used as another way to list normal green for green trades, and is not to be used for any sites you have yet to join, just for sites you want to join and go on to complete.
How a Typical Trade Should Take Place
1) A user (will reffer to as user A) will post a listing in the trades system requesting a trade, either green for green, green for cash.
- If green for green, user A must state what sites they are prepared to join.
- If green for cash, user A must state how much and if paid when the green appears, or when the user is close to verifying (within 14 days) they may defer payment until the account (and the green) has been verified
- User A must not post or state "pm/email/msn/phone/etc" me for more info, all trade request must be made in the trade thread
2) If you are interested in trading with user A, you must post on the trade listing that you are interested in doing the trade, and if it is a green for green trade you must state what site you wish user A to join.
3) User A must then look at any replies of offers to trade, and decide which user they with to trade with. Once chosen this must be stated as a reply to the trade listing confirming they are trading with that user (user B), what both users will be doing in the trade and any referral links involved. User B must also reply saying they are doing the trade, as well as filling in with any information that the other user may not know (their referral links for example). User A must use the "trade with user B" button to link the trade to that member.
4) Users A & B will use the trade system to leave a reply stating their referral links, if they haven't already done so.
5) Users A & B will both join up the sites, and complete the offer
straight away no waiting for payday, no waiting for offers to rotate, it has to be instant. Screen shots may be requested by either User A, or B, as well as by the admins and mods, so please read up on how to take them and do take them. If you need somewhere to upload the screen shots, then the
eXceem Gallery can be used
6) When both users go green they must state this on the trade thread, sometimes due to delays with the network one users green may appear more quickly than the other user's
7) When both users are green, user A must reply to the listing stating that the is trade completed. At this point both user A and B should leave feedback in the feedback form, please dont leave any feedback in the trade thread
8) if there are any issues during the trade, dont PM or email, make a reply in the trade thread. if you have serious concerns then contact a member of staff ASAP by pm, or post a thread in the trade support section with relevant details such as trade thread etc
Offers
All offers must be carried out by the member joining the referral link, i.e in a green for green trade when member A joins members B link (Site C), and member B joins members A link (Site D), member A would do a offer in site C, and member B would do a offer on site D.
In a green for cash trade the person being paid will complete the offer, the person paying for the green would take no part in the completion of the offer.
Trading with other people
You can only trade for greens & cash that are in your name only, no trading on behalf of other family members/friends is allowed.
Communication
You can not pm people asking them to trade with you, all eXceem members are fully aware of the trades system.
You are free to keep each other informed of any updates in the trade , all eXceem asks is that you keep the listing updated, as this information is useful if a trade was to go wrong.
Feedback Points
A user will gain 1 extra point for completing a successful trade. If you trade with the same member more than once, you will get a feedback point for the trade, but it wont be added to your final score (a similar system to ebay)
Feedback can only be left for trades carried out on eXceem only.
Feedback may be removed if it appears that a member is abusing the system, to avoid this please use the guidelines when trading as listed above
No "post crapping"
Post crapping is when someone will post on a thread, but the reply does not have any relevance to the thread.
i.e i post a "green for £10 thread" and a user replying "can you go green for green", that is considered post crapping, if the thread poster wanted to go green for green, then they would have stated it.
Multiple trading listings
While you are free to have as many trade listings as you want, please avoid making multiple trade listings, to better express this here are a couple of examples
If you want a green on site A and hav'nt yet joined sites B,C,D then create
1 trade listing stating you need greens on site A, and can do B,C,D.
Don't create 3 listings each stating you can go green on site B for a green on site A,site C for a green on site A and site D for a green on site A.
