Despite what other posts suggest, Incentive Network is not online

A further update for you all.

Yesterday, as a result of half of India visiting my site, I exceeded my monthly bandwidth. I therefore purchased a new hosting package with a new provider, hoping to get everything online very soon. Everything is now uploaded to that server, ready for me to quickly test before I open everything back up. Last night I was waiting for the domain to point to the new server so I could do this. During this time, it successfully repointed to my new host, but now I have been told to contact support regarding something. I hope to bring The Incentive Network back in full force before the day is out.

They aren't back online, that was the point of this post. It's now 1TB.

anyway, sorry if my last post sounded snappy, I'm in a bit of a bad mood because of all this. Still working to get things sorted asap.

but anybody would if a bunch of people have been falsely claiming your website is back online, when it isnt.
But glad you've got a massive bandwith now.
Have you got any plans to make IncentiveNetwork eXceem supported?

That's up to eXceem, not me, if it were up to me I'd have to say I plan to get it supported within the hour, but no...

Hopefully it'll be a popular network, and once eXceem see the orders that go out, they may decide to support the network. I'll definitely play my part in keeping all the members happy, with their free gifts and being on the ball with tickets.

I wasn't falsely claiming his site was back online. It was back online, when I was on it at 2am this morning. It just so happens it has went back offline again, for some strange reason.

Another update, just spoke with UK2.NET live support. Apparently the domain was blocked for abuse, and that's all live support can tell me. They kindly moved my ticket to "Abuse" category, so that team can help me out and enlighten me as to how I've abused them being with them for less than 24hrs. The only thing I can think of is if those Indian referrers bombarded the site all night, and overloaded the server. P.S. I'm not being in anyway racist here, people from India may use the site so long as they are living in the UK. I'm just not going to be sending anything to India lol.

I just still dont understand how the whole of india is flooding to your site! The only logical explanation (clever harvez!) is the rumour of free ringdings at your site!

The latest is that UK2.NET aren't suitable. However, it doesn't mean searching for a new host. I've decided to stick with the old host, but try and get my b/w upgraded and then put better measures in to preserve the b/w for the people who should be using the site.

During the hours it was back up last night, there were far too many visitors, and apparently I clocked up 15% of the servers resources, when I'm allowed just 5%.

As I keep saying, it's mostly traffic from India, and now a few other Asian countries. These are some of the most populated regions in the world and the economies of most of these countries isn't that great, so the incentive of a free iPod or whatever is a great attraction, particularly when they don't read anything and think they just refer a million of their friends lol.
