Quick update regarding iPhone draw...

Hey all,

Just wanted to give you all an update about the iPhone draw. If you're all wondering why the remaining entries have been stuck at 113 for several days now.

It is due to most people who're completing offers choosing to do LOVEFiLM. Since this is an offer which goes to 'pending' they don't get an entry until it goes green. As a result even though there are people doing offers, there have been no further entries meaning the remaining entries sticks, dragging the length of the draw on even longer. So apologies for that. Remember, even if there are slots remaining by September 15th, the draw will continue as normal using the current entrants.

Well looking at his signature and blog (providing they are updated) in the last 2.5 weeks there has only been 1 further draw entry which is good for us - well maybe not me. Statistically a higher chance of winning!

Yea, you can take 3 off that figure meaning 89 left, I would have updated it had any significant amount been filled but there wasn't lol. Doesn't seem to be that much interest in obtaining extra entrie, although those 3 all went to the same person strangely enough...

Exceem member i presume, does completing extra offers count towards your gift at all? If not it seems a waste using them just for a competition, better odds than the lottery but at least 27x more expensive! Oh well...competition time!

If you read the other threads this is answered. What would happen is as follows:

Statuses after signing up through the eXceem links:
Mac - Free offer completion
Nintendo - Free offer completion
Sony - Free offer completion
Xbox - Free offer completion

As long as you sign up to at least 1 site you will get one entry and only 1.

Now, lets say you decide to do Gala and Mecca on the Mac and Nintendo sites, your statuses on each site would now be as follows:

Mac - Credited for Gala :: Free offer completion becomes free referral
Nintendo - Credited for Mecca :: Free offer completion becomes free referral
Sony - Free offer completion
Xbox - Free offer completion

Because you have completed 2 offers you will have gained 2 further entries boosting your total up to 3, out of a maximum allowed of 4. The benefit of doing it across different sites means you require fewer referrals for the item you're going for, rather than just getting an extra entry for the iPhone. You cannot do extra offers on the same site in order to get more than 1 free referral on a single site. It is limited to 1 via this method (per site). So in answer to your question, it does count towards your gift, as demonstrated above. And no, as far as I'm aware the user was not an eXceem member
