 | Digital camera finally received from freepay!Well, those freepay folks sure did take their time but when it arrived it was perfect timing - I got my Canon Ixus 800 this morning just in time to charge the battery and take it with me to see Robbie Williams. Despite not having a great deal more megapixels, the pictures are of vastly superior quality than those taken by my previous camera (a Fuji). So whilst I'm not going to rush out and sign up to any more freepay sites, I am a very happy bunny today!  Pics to follow. |

| Re: Digital camera finally received from freepay!Just had a look at http://www.dcresource.com/reviews/ca...il.php?cam=846 at it seems the reason for the lower megapixels is the fact it now has IS (Image stabilization) which means that your photos should look sharper if the photo is taken while the camera isn't completely still, a good feature on small cameras. Apparently the larger the sensor in the camera the better the photo. hinz |
