Just red a possible solution.. if you remove all external links from your site (including ref links).... then create a new sitemap.

Remove forum signature links too.

:P It gets the site reassessed without the backlinks that had it penalised when the algorithm change struck. Then you can add them back individually and see which ones work/don't.... it has a lot to do with the anchor text of the link apparantly.
