The one I got was for 3 refs... 59.99 on sale from Amazon.
Seagate Expansions 1TB External Desktop USB 2.0 Hard: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics & Photo

Although looking at the price now, it's 66.40

One thing though, I thought it was gonna be one of those you carry around with you... This one is pretty big and chunky and when in use it HAS to be plugged into the mains socket.

Still 1TB is 1TB, Gonna start backing up LOADS of things (quite a few Laptops in the house! )

Thanks everyone!

Anything that size (500GB+) will need a power source etc.

I've only seen one or 2 protable 500gb drive and they're fairly expensive!

Movies I'd imagine, they can take up a LOT of space

OT: Congratulations, I might need one of these at some point, my 250gb passport drive (I think that's what they're called) is nearly full

What makes you say that?

Nah, I've only cashed out once before (£34 - to check if it actually worked! )
I realised I needed an external hard-drive and found this one to be pretty cheap so went for it... I think I'll only get things when I actually need it and not just pounce on iPods and iPhones etc.

PLUS i'm not doing too well with my site and all - not good with SEO and the like...

James - Ouch! Still 500Gb is still HUGE (although 1Tb is DOUBLE that amount... haha! I joke!). You're the one who got me started though, with your site and clever videos... I was signed up to another site (a few years ago) and didn't really carry on with it. Saw your videos and decided to actually give it another chance. So THANK YOU iMoose!

Hmmm.... a car you say, I passed looong time ago but have only driven once (or twice) in my bros car... I don't know why, but driving aint my thing BUT I shall soon be buying a car as well...

@ifreezone

ta pal. would rep but have to spread it ... as they say.
movies take up a ridiculous amount of space. first 500's used up, and my Macs 320 has just filled up, and become really slow, so gonna shift it onto the new one. glad to see your getting some good things now pal.

You seem to be slowing down a bit with the refs, is it coz of Uni? You must have LOADS of movies then, taking up 500 + 320 (yep, I know its not just movies... )
