Congrats!!

I use a MacBook Pro, never touched my desktop since I've had it. Do you own a Mac already? If you don't then you should definitely get one.

congrats mate. Still going strong I see.

I prefer PC's but that is because I am studying windows programming. I really believe you should get the best tools for the job you are doing so if you think a mac will do a better job than a PC then get one.

I hope you can use it on something more interesting than uni fees, I know they suck, but live off loans while you can!

I just prefer Mac OS so much more, if I ever need a larger monitor then I just hook my MBP up to my TV. The 15" (to my surprise) is plenty big enough for everything I do usually, and it's speedy as!

I like the OS too, and the stuff you can do with the touchpad is amazing. If i was going to get a pro it would be the 17" one, i like my big screens. I was thinking about the 27" imac, but yeah, it aint mobile which is a shame hehe

Well done that's a brilliant amount! I love macs, i've not got a mac book but got a 3 or 4 year old mac, i think it is. They're so much better than windows

Get one and you really won't want to turn back again! haha

Congratz mate,

Though, here is a warning, if you are ready to take a massive leap in learning how to use a different OS then try out a iMac because it is a great bit of kit. Though if you don't want to mess around trying to find out something your would normally find within two seconds of using a Windows PC then don't do it.

I'm an IT Engineer and know loads about the Windows OS and can find my way around it blind folded (I won't try that though lol...) but Macs OS is totally different so be warned!

Thanks for the info. I should have said that I wanted to use the windows in tandem with the Mac, which will be shared with my older bro who does alot of designing. Getting an iMac would be nice but it just wont be feasible so the Macbook Pro is the second best option and it aint a bad option to be honest!

It's worth checking Amazon as they usually sell them a bit less. Apart from that, there's not much to be done unfortunately, Freepay paid for most of mine! (£900 Amazon voucher).
