there should be a generic post that everyone gives to the many posts like this, such as a list of links indicating to do some reading. Then lock the thread or something...

cant the admins replace ref link with ***** by using the badword filter? for example if someone posts the url
consoles.freebiejeebies.co.uk/reflink then anything after the / will be removed.

There is a mod about as I have seen some of this idiots links removed, this ones still up though.
