30Gb White iPod from freepay

Finally, my very first freebie!

I got my iPod from freepay today and I'm currently figuring out how to get music onto it - seems I can't while it's charging which seems silly (it just says "do not disconnect" on the screen).

Anyway, it should have been here yesterday but nobody was in, but when I got home from work today there it was!

You can get music on it while it's charging. Just fire up itunes. Any questions just ask

Probably the wrong place to ask but Amanda maybe you can take the challenge, how up to date does your pc have to be to support them - I'm currently happy on Windows 98 and a 1.1 USB - will that work?

Has the rest of the world progressed so far beyond me that God forbid, my ZX81 isn't a top notch games console too - please nobody make me feel old by asking what a ZX81 was

Damn, Tom you were the only person I could think of that would know (you're 35 too aren't you ?)

Sinclair ZX81, preceded the spectrum, horrible thing with flat buttons that you used to have to hit with a hammer almost to register

Never had one (cheap parents) but a mate had one and it was such the thing to have when I was about 12ish I guess, had to program for about 6 months to get a cursor to move from 1 side of the screen to the other

Thanks Mark.. not that it made me any wiser..

I might be 35, but I didn't get into pc and game consoles until about 10yrs ago..

so before that I never had anything "smashing" like the kids has nowdays.. spending most time infront of a computer when they could be out having fun.. or something..

Anyway, we have hijacked Amandas first freebie thread long enough..

Hey Marky, I'm afraid I can't really answer your question, need a weekend of fiddling to get it working properly I think. However, it does state in the guide that a USB 2.0 is preferable, and that it might be slow with a 1.1. It doesn't say it won't work, but when I plugged it in on the front of my pc it said it wouldn't install properly, so I've plugged it into the back.

Hope that goes some way to answering your question!
