Starting to get disheartened

If its a scam, I've done very well out of it. People who think its a scam just dont realise how freebie sites can afford to give stuff away.

Advertisers pay the freebie sites, freebie sites reward people by sending them gifts for their efforts.

the problem is people are now conditioned that the internet is a scarey place and that you can be ripped off.

99% of the battle is making people understand the concept of the freebie scene.

Well if we work for he company we are unlikely to admit to it being true!

If we worked for the company why would we all have our own individual sites? And why would we allow people to come on and moan when things go wrong etc?

At the end of the day people like to think they are smart and can spot ascam, it makes them feel superior to think it is a scam and that you are gullible etc. just ignore them and keep at it.

I am yet to recieve my first freebie, even after 3 months, but I know when I do it will amazing. So just try to get your first one then everyone will believe you.

What is disheartening me is how long my trades always seem to take. I've done 9 trades and only 1 has been completed successfully and quickly.

I'm waiting for my offer to credit on 6 trades, only 2 of which I did this week. The rest are beginning of the month. Of the other trades, one went wrong on my trade partners end, he's waiting for support to reply and on another I went green after a couple of attempts (freepay trade) now my trade partner, after also having problems has been awol for 3 days.

I was hoping to have enough greens to get a ps3 at the beginning of April. But because of the time its taking for my trades to complete it looks like I wont be able to verify until end of April. And then of course there will no doubt end up being some greens go on hold

Still, I cant wait until I do eventually get a PS3. I intend to share it with my younger cousin since I'm not that big a gamer now and only really want one for a couple of games. And I cant wait to see his face when he sees it.

Yeah it shows green on my end. And I've just re-read my email from fj support. They say it takes 2 weeks, I was getting mixed up with RI who say it can take a month.

To get back on topic, I started to get disheartened in the beginning when I told my family/friends about it. They were sceptical, but now there jaws drop when I show them Ipod Touch I got.

I gave up trying to refer family or friends. I just try to get referrals through my website now.

THIS is certainly not a con i was like you about 2 months ago but now im a proud owner of a ps3, im getting verified for a ipod classic and a £100 amazon voucher today so hope all goes well.

When I started doing freebie sites my wife said, "I am not visiting you when they send you to prison!"

That is the view some people have of these sites, however she has no problem spending the money I am making by selling my goods on eBay and she is now looking forward to getting her free DS Lite I am working on for her.

As said before, the hardest part is convincing the sceptics

Yeh my older brother feels just the same way. He thinks just cause he's older he knows it all and says it's a scam but i'll show him when I get my stuff. Then he'll be begging me to help him get greens =D
