Starting to get disheartened

i just had a few freebies the last week and was telling my mom about it she said be careful you dont in trouble it sounds dodgy ..been doing it for 2 years got 4k worth of stuff but hey..

Well I quite happy this morning, a couple of trades went green so now I'm only 3 away from a PS3. And I should hopefully get 2 of those from other trades (when I go green and they do an offer).

ill tell you a story then since we are saying how family/friends being skeptics.
I originally started doing this because i wanted an xbox 360 elite when they were a month away from release. and i couldnt afford one (being 16 and all) anyway that was on consolesnatchers, in the end i gave up after getting 7 greens to get a ds lite for my step nephew, it was a month away from his birthday so i was safe. So i thought. anyway longstory short im still waiting for my £100 bank transfer, but the owner tells me it should be here tomorrow

so i figured i wanted a new ipod nano. But how could I do it with E V E R Y B O D Y convinced its a scam after the console snatchers thing. Well i found exceem, i was reffered by temple who i originally did the console snatchers refferal for. I worked at it and worked, i even made business cards and spread them around my local town. I manged to get 1 green out of it, but i was happy. I then ran the online game method and got 2 greens but I was stuck. So aasking my friends to do greens for me i got these replies: "whats the point its a big scam" "those things dont work mate" etc. But I said to them, just do it please. They said no . My mate wanted an ethernet cable so i said id give him it if he did a refferal (the mate who was the biggest downer on me doing freebies!!) and then i paid a guy to do one. I ended up ordering an ipod touch. Waiting and waiting, it came on the 5th december. I promptly took it to school on the 6th and threw it in my mates faces it was the best feeling ever, walking in and putting it in his face and shouting "i thought those things didnt work hey?" "i guess there was point to it after all "

trust mate, i had the opinion you did at one point and here is some advice:
If someone gets a really good refferal method, they ent gonna let it out.

end of the day, you can do trades or even pay people. I once thought if i pay people £10 per freepay offer that means its going to cost me £200 for a macbook (£700) bargin or what!?

Keep at it bud, a freebie is a freebie no matter how small

When you get your first free item, I bet all your friends and family start paying attention - that's what happened to me.

Until I got my first item I was 90% convinced it was real, even if you get to know and trust people on here, there is still a tiny little bit of your brain that thinks "what if it is a scam?" - however when that first item arrives, it is a great feeling and you'll be smiling for days

So stick at it, don't let others get you down - they are the ones losing out
