40gb PS3 from freebieejeebies!!

Wow, what can I say. This concludes the end of an amazing journey thats for sure.
Here's my very first post when I joined exceem back on the 1st of October

I received my very first freebie yesterday, a 40gb PS3, from the more than excellent freebiejeebies network, who I must say are absolutely first class. They truely are a credit to the gifts network as their attitude is first class. Nothing has ever been a problem for them when it came to dealing with my account and the many daft questions I must have asked them!
Then this morning , the second part of my gift arrived , PES 2008 and HDMI cable.
I spent all day yesterday messing about with the PS3 and must have brought the PSN network to it's knees with the amount of downloading I've done from the PSN store. Today looks like a marathon PES session.
Anyways, thanks a million Richard and Alex! You've made me and my three kids very happy! (But not so much the wife as I was up till 3 am this morning playing on it!)

I would just like to take the time to thank every member on here who helped me out with some great advice along the way as well, it was very much appreciated. Thanks!

It's a 40" LCD that I bought a couple of years back from Aldi. Seeing as i work for them it was a great deal at the time. Also , it's been spot on for everything I've thrown at it. Has 2x HDMI which is great for the 360 and PS3 as I don't have to faff around with swapping cables, component for the Wii , pc input , couple of scarts and some other kind of connection I dont use.
It only goes up to 1080i but I'm not that bothered for just now. I use this in my own room as my gaming tv, to keep the clutter out of the living room and also gaurantees that I can play without interupting the missus corrie or eastenders

This was my first ever freebie so I got as many family and friends involved as possible. Then I had to rely on a couple of trades as well to get me to the magic number of 11 refs. Im now going to try them all again so that I can do something on cosoles.freebieejeebies to pick up 3 games for 6 refs . Good luck with your ps3 .
