I was given a pointer when I first joined exceem. Keep plugging away, and a method will come along and bring success. It's true, you really do get rewarded for patience sooner or later. This time last year I would NEVER have thought I would or could have a sig. like this

Tomtom's are fab, I wonder how I ever managed before. No more taking directions from Mrs Fox (or Sat Nag as I call her). I like it even for simple things like telling you when you are going to arrive etc.

You cant beat JonJon navigation

One quick look at the atlas and I can go anywere in the UK and only need to double check the atlas when I need to navigate side streets etc

That's nothing. I once had to find Elland Road once and all I had for navigation was following grown men crying and discarded scarfs and I got there no problem.

Sadly, I had forgotten my boots so couldnt play

Well I was speaking to Mrs Icks on msn a couple of months ago and she reckons the_icks' name for her when driving is 't***nav' !! Not very nice!!

Also on the subject of satnavs, me and my bf ended up at the back gate of a car parking company in London when we went to Dublin last month cos the Navman I got couldn't figure out where the entrance was. Not fun at 2.30am!!! Sometimes maps and common sense CAN be better, but on the whole they are very useful (and swish looking)
