Re: AOL phone Call

I am with AOHELL.

I spoke to an Indian Women before about being charged for Virus protection that I did not request. She was laughing at me and did not listen to a word I said.

I wrote a stinking complaint letter listing the poor service I received, do you think I had an acknowledgment let alone an apology.

The software has completely F****** Up my computer. If i try and download anything it disconnects me numerous times.

If i am looking at a site it suddenly disconnects. At least twice a week I can not connect to the service and have to 'Rebuild AOL Adaptor' from the file on my computer.

So anyone know any service that offers no limit downloads, at least 1 meg Broadband for about £17.99, let me know. Also if it is an offer on a free site, that would be a bonus!

Re: AOL phone Call

Do not go on bulldog for a offer, i heard bulldog are closing down there site and service.

I am on BT and its horrible, was on 2MB before i moved, then moved and they put me on 1MB, rang em up and said i was on 2MB can u change me back, np 10 days thanks bye, nothing changed still in 1MB and they must have been doing mega updates on the lines because me internet would just stop, i could play online games etc but not surf, pain in the ass.

I am guna go on pipex soon, they are good, been around a long time and good service, can get 6.5MB, not 8MB let dumbass BT say you can for £35 a month, which ainit bad and unlimted, also ukonline are another good service.

Re: AOL phone Call

I currently pay £30 BT phone a month and £17.99 AOL 1 meg Broadband.

Am thinking of moving to Talk Talk, £21 Phone linerental and 8meg Broadband with 40gig limit.

Sounding pretty decent at moment.

Re: AOL phone Call

telewest is cheap i get 10 meg unlimited broadband for £30 cus i have tele and phone with em but i think 2 meg is only like 14.99, talk talk do 8 meg and free phone and freecalls including ovwersees calls for 20 quid but it is limited to 40gb - but to be fair i download loads and 40gb is probobly still plenty - the only thing with talk talk is that there is a wait (i work for carphone so i know this!!) till about end of august at the mo because twice as many people have signed up then they was expecting also you need your phoneline to be with bt and i believe for £15 you can keep your number

Re: AOL phone Call

homechoice!

I got 2mb service for £15 plus a freeview box - where you can rewind stuff and watch programs that have already been aired. You can also order movies and other channels from them.

Their custoemr service is good, although we did have a major problem where they wouldnt bill us for 6 months and then cut our service for not paying! but apart from that they are good. Not sure if its unlimited downloads, but i think if you pay few qid more you can get it
