No chance, not there! We have no idea what's it's supposed to be for... out best guess I think is that they built the upper floor a bit too high

Someone upstairs is really wishing there was a power socket just there!

Nope, was all built at the same time! We've just temporarily moved into the ground floor!

It is possibly for a projector... but it's a very odd place for it. I reckon someone just didn't think very clearly!

In most of the classrooms at my school, the ceilings are about 3 times the height of that one. There are literally pairs of sockets in each of these classrooms facing down from the ceiling. I'll see if i can get a picture
