can't believe people don't read the descriptions properly when they're bidding that much money on something

I know - I bought a ticket to a warehouse on Ebay. Totally gutted when I arrived and it was literally a warehouse!

I could imagine 1 or 2 newbies not reading the listing and getting caught out but when you look at the bidders, many of them have feedback above the 20, they should know better.

The "winner" if we can call him/her that has a feedback of 62

They'll just cancel their bid and ebay will take their side even though there is a perfectly valid contract.

eBay's new motto - "We must protect idiots from themselves!"

Mind you, if they are too stupid to read the listing properly, they probably have already paid for the item and wont notice until the empty box arrives.

then, they complain to paypal/ebay and they get the money back

The thing is, i've seen listing where it's very ambiguous what is actually being sold but this one is pretty clear! And the listing itself is less than 20 words so doesn't take a long time to read.

They aren't even big words!

Very true but i think many people just read the title and then bid. There should be a separate ebay fee for being thick

Some people just don't deserve to use the internet! It's called reading people, it's what you do before you spend a lot of money!

I love that thinking! I'd never thought of that! I hope we are wrong because that would be quite funny!
