Most Helpful Weather Forecast

So, I wanted to go walking up the fells today around my home of the Lake District, I looked outside and it was pretty cloudy, so I looked at the weather forecast:

Fell Forecast for Wednesday:

Weather:

A bright start with some sunny spells around but cloud increasing through the morning but showers developing towards lunchtime. The showers will develop more widely during the afternoon and are expected to become heavy and thundery at times, perhaps merging to give some longer spells of rain. Brighter drier conditions spread east during the evening.

Visibility:

Very good, moderate and poor in showers.

Now, THAT is a specific visibility report isn't it!

Yeah, the forecast has been totally awful this week. I went to town to see some people after school for the first 2 days of the week wearing jeans in boiling hot weather. On the 3rd day, the weather was said to be sunny. So I went to town in a skirt and it was raining down really hard! Grrr...

ElectroGirl- I see you are a fellow Plymouthian (Janner)! You should know by now that no weather forecast can accurately portray or predict the complex and beautiful micro-climate that is the South West. Ah Dartmoor, curse of the weathermen...I love it!
