Or alterenatively get people to donate money to "go towards a ipod" and just work on getting a free one at the same time. And then just smash the paid for one and at the end just say - good job i got a free backup!! |

 | Re: www.smashmyipod.comout of the box firefox is little more then a slightly more secure browser that isn't as compatible with the web as IE, but with a few extensions installed firefox soon becomes the lean mean IE beating web machine, I have session saver installed for instance, meaning I can have a whole bunch of tabs open, and if I need to cos I've installed some software or whatever, I can close firefox, restart the computer and when I reopen firefox all my pages open again for me. firefox is still a great browser even if it has now become "cool". I'm also using the beta of IE7 and that is pretty good also, incredibly stable for a beta too. Oh and the purpose of smashing the ipod was to wipe the grins off a few "apple is my god" types in the store, by destroying their saviour right infront of them, hehehe well worth the money in my opinion. P.S. nice to see you're still around Cyburn, I thought maybe we'd frightened you off. |

| Re: www.smashmyipod.comI have firefox and it freezes all the time.I am running a P4 with HT and belive the problem is called livelock as if I run Firefox on one logical cpu it behaves a lot better. |

| Re: www.smashmyipod.comi've been using 1.5 beta 1 for a few weeks now and i've been very happy with it. I expect I'll upgrade to rc2 sometime soon, but I'd rather give it a week or so, for extensions to be updated. |
