Women Drivers

Driving to work this morning on the M5 motorway, I looked over to my right and there was a woman in a brand new BMW, doing 90 miles per hour
with her face up close to her rear view mirror putting on her eyeliner!

I looked away for a couple of seconds and when I looked back she was halfway over in my lane still working on that makeup!

It scared me (and this coming from a bloke....) so much that I dropped my electric shaver, which knocked the bacon roll out of my other hand.

In all the confusion of trying to straighten up the car using my knees against the steering wheel, it knocked my mobile from my ear, which fell into the coffee between my legs, causing it to splash and burn BIG JIM AND THE TWINS, causing me to scream, which made me drop the cigarette out of my mouth, ruined my shirt and DISCONNECTED AN IMPORTANT CALL.

Damn Women Drivers!!!!!!!

omg Biker14, I have to say with out a shadow of a doubt, with no offence intended, you are one of the most bigotted people (either intentionally of otherwise) I have ever seen!!

- rather be dead than gay
- women are the worse drivers

and you were the person who started the political correctness thread...!!

everyone is entitled to an opinion, and I have plenty, but some of your misguided opinions are very close to the knuckle.... don't believe all the stereotypes you read.. I am half jewish, it doesnt mean I am tight.. there are plenty of scots on here too - the less said about them the better ... with no offence to the welsh (apart from the Swansea fans of course), you are a country of misguided stereo types... I mean you are not all in male voice choirs and most of you (with the exception of the females of the species) do not have moustaches and talk like Windsor Davies!!

Haha I think someone might've missed the joke

Furb - was that from someone's stand-up routine? I vaguely recall seeing it (or something similar) on tv...

Re: Women Drivers

My personal opinion. Half sarcy half truthful. Whenever i'm on the motorway, its always the women drivers driving slowly in the middle lane. (Im not the only one who's actually thought this) I admit, men obviously can be like that. But its more usually women if you get what i mean. But maybe things are different in England than in Wales lol

Harvez, I am not Biker14 (who, if we are talking about stereotypes and judging by his user name, would have to be one of the guys from ZZ top )

Not sure who used that in their routine, all I know is that it appeared in my inbox....from a woman !

Nothing worse than middle lane drivers, they really do my head in!

Re: Women Drivers

neck is wound in

i got the joke!!

i am just tired of youngsters being 'sheep like' - not a welsh pun, and sharing such stereotypical attitudes....

if it had been 'what do you call a welshman with more than one sheep? a pimp'

would it have been.. oh yes, all the welsh people I know are sheep shaggers....

Re: Women Drivers

Personally I think this thread is a bit sexist. I'm all for expressing opinions and I am aware that some women drivers lack in confidence in driving but they make up for that with qualities in other fields. I believe it is unfair to judge women as 'crap drivers' stereotypically. You're saying that the whole of the female population are inconfident drivers when actually you only think that because they're the only ones you notice!

I'm only 13 years old and I'm not afraid to hide it, as I said before I am all for expressing views freely, I just feel that you are being unfair because you only notice the poorer women drivers.

it wasnt the joke, quite amusing in a Jim Davidson/Bernard Manning sort of way.

it was the response.. combined with comments made in other threads that pi$$ed me off.

Re: Women Drivers

pedal.. as in pedantic...! lol

it was an accumulation of biker14s comments, I would have thought the 'rather die than be gay' made that clear to him, obviously not to others.

edit. but even more obvious I would have thought the use of biker14s name in the 'rant' made it even more obvious

I would like to think that the next generation of 'adults' are growing up into much more tolerant people.... i am not into political correctness at all...I'm not one to call a spade a wooden handled metal bladed digging implement - far from it, but I think comments like that belong in the playground (if anywhere) not on a forum where there is no way of knowing peoples sex/sexuality (unless its made obvious by a name, but then again theres no guarantee)

Re: Women Drivers

but your missing the point.
You were the third person to reply, bikers 1st reply wasnt anything bad infact he pointed out that using ur phone while driving is illegal.

but then your 1st post you went off on 1, now i know u have now realised the original post was a joke, but the way you tried to cover your tracks later was terrible, more so that i have been posting to fuel your back peddling lol.

love your oldie style ick's
