blogspot?

hello freebie peeps, i was wondering is doing a blog a helpful process for the SEO. i have been looking into the keywords part of SEO recently and trying to change that up a bit.

but was wondering if blogs are a good way of getting views and greens. the only thing i can think of doing is about video games or economics. not sure.

advice please. im getting ready for finals now but im gonna be making notes on this.

Blogs are good for SEO as google loves fresh new content. Your articles may appear high on google so that would bring more visitors and potentially more greens

blogs are a great way of getting taffic, most of my visitors enter my website, from keyword tags on my blog posts....

blogspot is the way to go for free sites. i have many many blogspot blogs with many of them ranked very well indeed. also remember that google own blogspot so they rank them well from the start.

and mjs blog is not blogspot. its wordpress platform on hosting. there is a difference.

So the idea is that you MAY have more success with your website if you have a blog which relates to it,
and you release fresh contents on your blog frequently?

Umm... I know I'm not much into SEO, but my site InterFreebies (check my sig) is a Joomla+WordPress site. People say that blogs, especially made in WP, perform better at SEO. (Dunno why) But, after I made the blog, I've seen a considerable rise in the number of people signing up to my site. Almost 1-2 new members everyday. So, this is all I know about SEO and I shared it.....

P.S. I put some games just to get ranked for 'Free Online Games'...

Just a question:
If I have a blog for my website and I put my website's link in any of the keywords in a post, does that mean I'm backlinking my website?
(so Google may rank my page higher on keyword searches)
Sry, I 'm new to this whole SEO thing but learning.

The same goes for me. I and my matey planned all our sites via MindMaps. They're the best way to plan something. Google a software called Dia. It's made especially to create mind maps.

thanks. i looked at it and understand the process of what he does. i feel like i want to take articles from other places and then comment on them.

A blog is my main method now... It works just fine. Though blogging does have it's advantages, I still wouldn't assume SEO is 100X easier than with a regular site. With blogs, you're expected to update it consistently and frequently.. etc.
