I guess it depends what the "hassle" is but I don't think any of these referral programs brings results. You never know, it might for you.

The person whom I signed up as a ref on GetRef (leeseeshen from exceem) seems to get many greens from it as he offers a huge amount of credits to sign up under him. (Around 30) So, basically, it depends how much effort you put in to collect the credits and how well you organize it and advertise it on sites like YouTube. I tried GetRef and got 14 credits but people are not interested to sign-up because of the low credit payment.

Yeah I figured that would be the only way to do it. But even for high amounts of credits it's still handy to have that option for some extra greens. Thanks for the input

so, roughly how much would it cost you to get 1 green on those sites?

Well the site I am with u can request a referral for as little as 30 credits and as you can purchase 650 credits for around £3 not a lot. That's why I don't think it will work. I know I wouldn't fill out an offer that would cost me 5 quid on fj for only 30 credits. But then again some people are stupid. And my link on that page may get me 1 or 2 greens. MAYBE. I'll keep u posted on my progress

But we need to advertise a lot about our link. Because many people offer 30 credits along with you. So, it depends on how well you advertise your link. Good luck to the OP if you're going with this method! This method, according to me, is a side-operational one as you cannot totally depend on Referral Programs.

If that's the case then you can always offer 40 or 50, just that small difference can gain a lot of signups.

Umm... Ojaser, matey, if I'm not mistaken, then 30 is the maximum offfering limit as far as GetRef is concerned. So, it purely depends on the amount of effort you put in to advertise your link, get referrals and contact them so that you can get them to sign up under your link. I don't know why, but I feel very easy to get referrals over there. I've had nearly 20-30 referrals there and 0 here....

In my personnal opinion those sites don't compensate the effort, for instance I've had over 120 credits on getref.com (easily achieved, at least half by refferring people) and for some months from now I've been offering 60 credits (people without gold donator rank will only receive only 30 credits though) for people to complete my program (apple.freebiejeebies) and it was pretty much useless, no one completed an offer, I just got some useless signups during the process, so 60 of those credits have already been used to bring traffic to my website (works like ptc, but with credits), it brought me almost 6000 untargeted visitors and no green, soon I'll be doing the same for the rest of my credits though...
