Getting those yanks to convert

So I know it's common knowledge that Americans are extremely hard to convert, but I'm getting far too many USA sign up's these days to let them go to waste.

Does anyone have any tips on how to get these guys to complete offers or if there are any really successful offers for USA sign ups?

Same. Gamefly was good for a while until it got abused, doesn't seem to be very popular this time around for some reason. The .co.uk domain puts them off unfortunately.

Have tried emailing them too but doesn't seem to make a difference!

Can you not script your site so those from the USA get referred to a .com freebie site they are more likely to signup and convert on a .com

I'm getting loads of sign ups so getting them to actually sign up to FJ isn't the hard part it's the offer bit that appears to be stopping them even though it's clearly stated on my sites.

Like Xpango? If that was possible i'm not sure if sending them to Xpango would help much!

Kudos.com = Bad Request (Invalid Hostname) lol. Unfortunately the only other US freebie network seems to be trainn... but you can't sign-up from outside the US/Canade plus the sites aren't repeatable!

Look through A4F, there are tons of US/Canada networks.

Well I'm #1 on google.com with a .com site, my most clicked link goes through to KUDOS and I get a lot of US sign ups... And very very few conversions! Think I've had 2 out of the 700 reds!

I'm also #2 or 3 on google.com.au and get a lot of Aus reds and again, no greens!

Got a few plans up my sleeve but lacking time to do anything atm!

I'm the same, I get alot of USA and Australia sign-ups. Just checked and half of all my greens are from the USA. My ratio for them is about 1:40 so I guess that ain't too bad, not as bad as I thought.

Just under 1/5 of my referrals are UK... ratio is about 1:20. The rest are International and surprisingly that ratio is the best, about 1:17.

Would be nice to have more UK traffic, maybe a .co.uk domain might have been a better choice from the start. Could always change over to .co.uk and do a 301 redirect but i'd be afraid of how that would affect my rankings. Was also reading it's better to have the site hosted in the UK, mine is hosted with hostgator on US servers so could do with changing that too!

I know I'm a total newbie and don't know much about this stuff, but if there are some people in your reds' list whom you might have contacted earlier, try to contact them via Twitter, Facebook or MSN or stuff like that. As for me, my sites are not doing good, so my only source of reds is (Go on! Have a laugh! Call me a dumb*ss!) Omegle. I am in contact with each and every red (15) and till now it seems that they're trying to put an effort to go green. It's useful as you can remind people about it. Also, if you have two many reds, then I don't think this would work, or you could befriend only some people according to the country details. Or you may send Chat Invites over Gmail or Yahoo and try to contact them. These are the only methods I know of. Hope at least some part of it was useful, though beezer123, I know you're a veteran when it comes to freebies...

My last green was an intuit from the USA!! most of my sign ups are USA, iv tried emailing them, saying il pay them $5 -$10 to sign up but hasnt help!! So i think its just down to pot luck with the USA!!

git-r-free is really good actually, and if i was in your situation i would definitely at least trial using git-r-free out for at least a month!

I would definitely second that, they even have some offers which don't require credit cards, but unfortunately they're only open to USA, Canada, and maybe the UK!

i'm in the US and the .co.uk dosent put me off any , though i'm still trying to figure out how to gat ppl to do offers ( as most ppl i know wouldnt even for the free ones >.< )

but u could try using tinyurl.com , it gives u a url that is just a forward to the original url
