 |  Old Style Method - Highly Underrated!Why has no one mentioned door-knocking as a method for getting referrals? I find that by actually talking to people in person you get far more conversions. All I do is I print off a whole lot of flyers advertising my referral link/website and then go around houses knocking on their doors and sussing out if they're interested. I hand them a flyer and put on a "please help me, I'm poor" face to seal the deal. You will find people are much more likely to trust you when you talk to them about something in person. Obviously this is why it is so easy to get your friends to sign up. So this method is perfect once you have run out of friends to ask. The only problem is it does take a bit of time. But I usually get 1 green per 5-8 houses I visit - which I think is quite good! Half an hour every evening earns me one green. And by doing the maths.. 1 green = $27.. 2 greens per hour.. $54 per hour! I am still new to this freebie thing.. But I'm thinking about dropping out of school and making it my full time profession! Beats being a lawyer. What do ya think?! Or am I just overly optimistic from my early success? |

| I have done it for about half an hour per day, for about 2 weeks, and so far I have 12 greens. |

| Then your stats are...  The idea is fine if you want to spend nights getting the door slammed in your face but obviously not as good as you made out.
