Blog Traffic

From time to time I write blog posts and they do bring in some traffic. The most popular ones I have posted were about the Playbook and just yesterday I posted something about the iPad 2 which got about 300 hits in 1 day.

I simply post it, then submit to twitter, facebook, delicious, digg, reddit and stumbleupon. Then ping it.

Obviously this isn't steady traffic as some posts will work, others won't. BUT it helps to increase post count and get more pages indexed, build site authority etc... plus google likes sites that are continuously updating with new content.

I have now recently added a banner to the top of my posts much like an adsense but it's specific to freebiejeebies and directs to them straight to freebiejeebies.

Anyway I guess this is only useful for those with a blog, the main thing to take from this is to write a post about trending topics/gadgets. Write enough often enough and you will notice the traffic!
