Frustratingly failing in getting referrals

Hello everyone,
I am new here, and have been using freebiejeebies for two weeks. I have created a twitter, facebook and hotmail account to try and tell people about this offer, but nobody seems to be buying it and I'm not having a single stroke of luck. I'm yet to have anybody even consider signing up to my link - What am I doing wrong? I've followed all the tips and methods for getting greens and nobody's giving me any. I also created a blog, if anyone is interested in seeing it, it's here - Get free items from FreebieJeebies!

It's my son's birthday in a few weeks, and he really wants a PS3 but I'm on a very small income and can barely put food on the table. If anyone's feeling particularly generous...

Thanks for listening.

Well, I could probably last longer without food than without the internet

Sadaharu, I just saw your website and found it very detailed and informative. You were very thorough and I think most people would be convinced to join FreebieJeebie. Hopefully, I can get my website to par to yours.
Thanks
Dennis

We have free internet access in our apartment block, it's paid for by the landlord.
Thank you for your kind replies. I have been thinking of saving up and spending a little money on trades ("greens" for cash, as it is named), as I may not be able to get this console for free, but certainly substantially reduced. Could someone explain the trades system to me and exactly how much I would need to spend for each referral?

Thank you for all your help

Well, firstly you will need to have been a member for 5 days and made over 5 valid posts to help the community. Then you can request trade access. See here Request Trade Access

The amount you "spend on each referral" will depend on the offers you complete. There are a few offers for $5 I believe.

Well I'm also new in freebiejeebies so my website is still a work in progress, maybe little more to add in design but SEO is "dirty job" to do and never ending process
You can easily done make cool website with just a little knowledge of Inkscape and Gimp which are free (or Illustrator/photoshop if you prefer) and some basic HTML/XHTML.

Here is the link of website where I have learn a lot, there are great and very helpful tutorials..so check it out on Tuts+.

If you have some questions contact me on private messages, ill be glad to help as much as i can.

cheers

I traded for most of the greens to get my PS3 when I first started, probably cost me £90 or so doing the offers. Took longer than a few weeks to get though.

I would to add that because of the many pictures on your site might slow the loading to some visitors and they might close the site too early. Just an advice
P.S. Good link. 10x

Thanks for advice but I know that i should have few pictures less..i have already resizded them as much as i could and convert them all to jpeg with as little losses on sharpness as possible..and so far when i check out on my friends computer or wherever i could, website load time was about 2sec..

How long did it take for you when you went on my site? Was it more then ≈2sec?

Well, it takes less than 2 seconds but it scrolls slower.
