| Mini Mac | Are we going about this the wrong way?I've been thinking and I've come up with this idea in my head that we're now going about our sites in the wrong way. Advertising stuff as being free can be seen now as being misleading due to the lack of free offers. Personally if I was a newcomer then I would be rather pissed off if I had been reading about all these free sites, then when I clicked through I discovered that I had to sign up to an offer that cost me money. Perhaps if we started advertising it as having to pay an extremely small one off fee to have access to potentially thousands of gifts, it may have a bit more success. I will be giving this a go on one of my sites to see if it increases conversion rates.

| iPod 20gb | I'm sure "Small one off fee for a iPhone" isn't searched as much as "free iPhone" though. If I was to search for free iPhone on google and come up with a website that told me I had to pay, i'd leave and find another site. Unless you don't rely on search engine traffic I don't think this would help conversions, may even make them worse. That's just my thought's though, proove me wrong :P |

I'm not saying target different keywords, cos you want to pull in as much traffic as possible. Perhaps still ranking for the "free" terms yet explaining that the sites do require a small fee to allow you to get your gift is better than lying to them right from the off. Anywhere they go I doubt they will find a reputable site that will actually give them a gift for free these days?

I personally think the whole "get 3 extra referrals, don't do an offer" isn't promoted that much. That way you have nothing to lose as you don't need to hand over any cc details or anything. | |

![]() ![]() | Yes, they get commission from the Adv Companies. If you get 3 extra GREEN referrals then that'll be two more commissions coming from the Adv Companies instead of the one if you complete your own offer. |

Think of it this way, if they didn't trade in the greens, and completed the offer instead, FJ'd gain £20 from the referrer, on top of the £60 from the 3 referrals, but have to give out £60 worth of gifts. Just read it and realised it's confusing as hell, but I hope you get the idea lol

![]() | In a nutshell, someone signs up through my link and instead of completing an offer just get three more referrals. On the other side they also don't complete an offer and refer again three more referrals. And I have a green, right ? If I have understood (at last

| iPod Nano 4GB | yes i was thinking along those lines aswell, but i thought you could always advertise - iphone for a tenner or something? It might seem more realistic that way. |

![]() ![]() | Yes, If your referrer gets 3 extra GREEN referrals then they will go Green, (You'll get the green). You'll get the offer completed when you send in a support ticket to FreebieJeebies asking them to swap 3 referrals for a completed offer status. |

| iPod 30gb | i have been using this in my emails. putting on the websites is ok but people will still try to get it for free. i had 4 people sign up, and im gonna email them saying "its cheaper than buying it at the shops. way cheaper. 5x11 is £55 for a ps3". that kind of thing
