As you already have their email save it to your contacts on your hotmail, then log onto facebook and click the find friends button this will find all who are in your email address book and u can request to be friends. Once they see this request they will more than likely ask who u are and this is when u tell them u added all ur email contacts to facebook and that incleded your freebie site contacts, apologise for it then ask if they ever followed up the freebie site when they say no explain how good it is what you get ect ect.....this is very effective on the chat section of facebook as its live try it out might work for you too |

| This has been mentioned before and as said before stalking your reds isn't the way to go to get them to turn green. Would you like random people adding you on facebook just so they can badger you into completing an offer? If they haven't done an offer its either because they a) can't (ages etc) or b) they don't want to / probably think it's some sort of scam. Imo it should be against FJ's rules to add referrals to msn/facebook etc, the only thing we should be allowed to do is send them an email once they sign up and leave them to make their own mind up. Stalking them isn't / shouldn't be allowed.

| its hardly stalking im not on their doorstep and i dont exactly watch their every movements and ive had no complaints from any of them, in fact your the first person to complain and im not (as you put it) stalking you, oh and by the way turned another red green today  |

| Have a search on eXceem... you'll see this "method" has been posted before and didn't go down too well either. Imagine if you signed up to something, then decided not to do it, then some random contacted you on FB begging you to do an offer.... immediate "block"!!

| thats the thing im not contacting them, imsimply sending a friend request, no badgering no hassling,if they ask who i am i tell the truth that i pressed the find friends button and its linked all my fj contacts, i apologise then ask if how they did on fj, some asked for help some didnt like it, as i say its far from stalking, forcing ect...to be honest i get badgered more walking into a comet store yet i still go in! |

| I think if all you are doing is adding them then it's not too bad, especially if it works as well as you're claiming. But I agree that if you're messaging them 'cold' then it's definitely crossing a line |

| no there is no"cold calling"its a simple friend request and if asked who i am explain as in my previous post, as i say not one person has complained in fact the ones which turned green were very friendly and thanked me for the help |

| Yeah, noone wants to be spammed (stalked, etc) but I think whether it's clased as such depends on the user's approach to gaining a referal. I think it's wrong but I wouldn't class it as spam.
